basic boilers are horizontal three-pass water & fire tube boilers with a chain grate stoker structure. Threaded pyrotechnic tubes are arranged in the drum to form a convection heating surface, while the drum and the water walls on both sides form a radiation heating surface in the furnace. Each package system is fully installed and wired before being transported to site and is electrically controlled to provide functions such as stepless speed regulation for the stoker, threshold parameter alert and interlock protection.

A boiler works like this 1. you must have a heat source..gas, coal, wood or even electricity 2. You must have a presuurized system that has a controlled steam output 3. You must have a water source, plain water will do but conditioned water works much better 4. You must have a heat exchange system by this i mean a tube and shell or enclosed kettle. 5. You must have a delivery system,this is generally in the form of insulated pipes 6. You must have a condensate removal system, these are often called " steam traps" and have different uses depending on how they are placed in the line. The heat source raises the fluid to a boiling point .Since we have done two things increased the pressure and increased the gravity of the water it boils at a temperature much higher than atmospheric pressure. The pressure and temperature rise until steam is produced .Since steam has a calculatable HP output it is consistent that more heat in will equal more power out. Some boilers are capable of 600HP . Anyway, when the saturated steam reaches optimum pressure it will flow without any other power source through the pipeline . In many cases the distance is rather long and condensate forms along the cooler pipe wall . As it trickles toward a low spot you might find a steam trap . When the trap fills with fliuid to a certain level it dumps the condensate out and this is what you see when a big burst of steam(actually water vapor steam is invisible) pops up from within a plant along the pipeline. On the steam goes to do its work. This work may be only static heating of a material or it can be used for a number of other operations including forging or in some cases heat-treating or pre-heating metal before welding. Whatever the job is a large portion of the energy is lost at this point . Return lines to the boiler are located in such a way as to promote free drainage to the resevoir. In some cases all of this is done at a specific heat with a specific flow and a specific saturation level. It has become a fairly common thing in larger homes to find floors heated by steam loops as well as just hot water loops.However one must take note that the action of steam and conversion of water to steam is much more than just hot water. The boilers I've worked with are large, industrial types that are used to produce High Pressure, Superheated steam for use in driving Turbines which, in turn drive large, powerful compressors for the compression of Gases in the Oil & Gas Industry. The units I worked with, consisted of a 'Fire Box' which was lined with 'Refractory Lining' to insulate the interior from heat loss. Within the fire box, coils of tubing lined the walls and these had treated water flowing through them. Large amounts of fuel are burned in the fire box that gives Radiant Heat to the tubes and water and, as they wound their way through the radiant section, the water was heated to 486°C at a pressure of 600 psi.
